LINWOOD POOLS
The $22 million complex features a multi-use 25-metre lane pool, a deep-water Manu pool, a family spa pool, a learn-to-swim pool, and a pool for toddlers. NZAV designed and programmed the audio system and audio control system for the pools.
MAYFAIR HOTEL
Christchurch welcomes The Mayfair among its newest luxury hotels, with NZAV contributing an easy-to-use control system for managing both the FOH audio system and the conference rooms.
ASHBURTON COUNCIL BUILDING
Te Whare Whakatere at Ashburton Library and Civic Centre offers public access to meeting rooms, event spaces, and an AV studio.
WAITAKI COUNCIL CHAMBERS
NZAV addressed Waitaki Council’s audio needs by installing a BOSCH Dicentis system, improving live streaming clarity during council meetings.
KIWA POOLS
NZAV was responsible for designing and installing an easy-to-use control system for Kiwa Pools' audio and paging system, ready for the building to officially open to the public.
HILLMORTON HOSPITAL
With a $79m upgrade underway, NZAV plans an AVoIP solution for Hillmorton Hospital’s enhanced mental health facilities. NZAV was successful in being awarded the tender for the design, supply, and installation of the audio-visual services for the new Hillmorton Mental Health facility.
MARLBOROUGH CONVENTION CENTRE
NZAV upgraded Marlborough Convention Centre’s AV system, including their projector screens, and incorporated Dante and AVoIP for flexible, high-quality audio and video distribution.
THE GOOD HOME - PREBBLETON
NZAV designed a video distribution system and GUI control system for the new family restaurant and bar, The Good Home Prebbleton, using HDBaseT (HDBT) technology to control 10 displays simultaneously, plus a multi-zone audio system.
LAMB AND HAYWARD OAKLANDS
Building on a long history of providing quality funeral options, Lamb and Hayward expanded their locations to include a new facility in Wigram. NZAV was chosen as the AV provider for the new venue. The solution provided had to be flexible enough to cope with any requests that a grieving family wanted to present whilst also being easy to operate and control.
AG RESEARCH LINCOLN
NZAV was successful in being awarded the tender for the supply and installation of the audio-visual services for the new Ag Research facility in Lincoln. The scope of works included 10 separate meeting rooms of various sizes, 17 “pod” meeting spaces, one main board room, and a seminar room with an LCD video wall. Digital signage panels were also located throughout the venue.
AROWHENUA MĀORI SCHOOL
NZAV was awarded the supply and installation of the new audio and video solution for the new Arowhenua School multi-purpose hall. The system consisted of a 150” projection screen and an FOH audio system complemented with a Harvey Pro control solution. The system had to be robust and easy to use.
ASHBURTON COLLEGE DRAMA STUDIO
NZAV was proud to be the provider of the audio-visual solution for the new drama room built as part of the Ashburton College rebuild project. The solution consisted of a 150” motorised projector screen, Epson laser projector, and sound reinforcement system over Dante with Kramer Control touch panel.
RIVERSIDE SPORTS BAR
Recently opened in August 2024, NZAV was proud to be associated with the new Riverside Sports Bar, building on the success of its sister venue, the Kaiser Brew Garden. The vision of the owners was to create a “high-end” venue suitable for customers to view their favourite sports events on the 3.7m x 2.2m 1.5mm pitch LED wall, along with multiple other digital displays throughout the venue. Sound reinforcement was provided by a Celto Acoustique FOH system for the DJ and a distributed system of satellite speakers in various zones.
LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL
In 2024, Lincoln High School implemented a 120-zone IP paging solution to be retrofitted throughout the existing school. The installation had to be accomplished out of school hours and also be able to be re-installed into the new school that was programmed to be built on the same site in the near future. A SPON IP solution was chosen due to the flexibility it provided, along with the modular framework that the system used, which meant that the system would be future-proofed for many years to come.
PITAU ALLENVALE SCHOOL
NZAV provided a SPON IP paging solution for Pitau Allenvale School, which has some very special requirements. As the school is a special needs school, the paging solution had to be easy to use. Each zone had to be fully customisable regarding volume for local inputs and paging/bells announcements, and it also had to provide a video intercom security solution for access control at the main entry gate. All things that the SPON IP solution was able to achieve, resulting in the school being extremely happy with the outcome.
