Perched above the stunning vistas of Akaroa, The Hilltop has been transformed from a classic pub into a breathtaking wedding and event destination. NZAV was proud to play a key role in this transformation by designing and installing a sophisticated, multi-zone audio system tailored to the venue's unique layout and purpose.

At the heart of the setup is a fully customised Kramer Control system, allowing intuitive management of audio throughout the entire venue. Whether it’s streaming Spotify for ambient background music or connecting via Bluetooth for a custom playlist, users can easily control playback across all zones from a sleek, touch-panel interface.

To support events, receptions, and ceremonies, we also integrated multiple wireless microphones—perfect for speeches and announcements—all seamlessly managed through the same centralised control panel. This allows he user to have speeches inside or outside and route that audio to wherever they wish.

This installation ensures The Hilltop delivers exceptional audio quality and user-friendly functionality, perfectly complementing the venue’s elegant redesign and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
