Whale Watch Kaikōura is one of New Zealand’s most iconic tourism operators, offering world-class marine wildlife experiences. To enhance their visitor engagement and storytelling capabilities, Whale Watch Kaikōura required a high-impact visual solution capable of delivering live events and dynamic content with exceptional clarity and reliability.

NZAV was selected to design and install a premium LED wall and video distribution system that would support live feeds, presentations, and special events—while maintaining the visual quality expected of an internationally recognised brand.

NZAV designed and delivered a high-resolution LED wall solution using Taylor LED’s NEXUS range COB LED panels, chosen for their superior contrast, durability, and fine pixel pitch of 1.6 —ideal for close-viewing environments.

To ensure consistent, high-quality signal distribution and system reliability, AV Pro Edge video distribution equipment was implemented. This provided a professional backbone capable of handling live event feeds and a variety of content sources with minimal latency and maximum stability.
