Russell Williams
Russell Williams is a highly experienced and accomplished professional in the field of Audio-Visual systems. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep understanding of the industry, and has proven his ability to lead and manage complex projects.
Before his current role, Russell worked at Shipleys Audio and Visual Systems Ltd. where he served as a key sales representative. In this role, he was responsible for developing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, and suppliers. Through his excellent communication and relationship-building skills, he helped the company to grow and achieve significant business success.
Russell’s project management skills are another key strength. He managed all the larger commercial projects undertaken by the company, which included audio, video, lighting, and automation. His project management process was comprehensive and thorough, covering everything from initial pricing and contract negotiation, to planning the installation, developing system diagrams, negotiating the installation schedule with the client, ordering equipment, and preparing and tracking progress invoices. He was also responsible for overseeing the final acceptance checks and completing all as-built drawings and documentation.
In addition to managing his own projects, Russell was entrusted with overseeing the technical aspects of all other projects managed by other account managers. He was able to advise and intervene when necessary to ensure that account managers and installation technicians stayed on track and completed all as-built drawings and documentation in a timely and efficient manner.
Russell’s extensive experience in the Audio-Visual industry has enabled him to develop a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. He has a deep understanding of the various components and technologies that are used in Audio-Visual systems, and he is also knowledgeable about the latest trends and innovations in the industry. His technical knowledge, combined with his business and project management skills, make him a valuable asset to NZAV.
