Full Monty - NZ Audio & Visual

Overview

Full Monty’s is Rolleston’s newest premium entertainment venue, designed to deliver an immersive, high-energy experience across sport, nightlife, and interactive entertainment. From Ten Pin Bowling and karaoke to Golf simulators and an Arcade, the venue required a robust, flexible, and intuitive audiovisual system capable of handling multiple content sources and zones—without relying on technical staff.

NZAV was engaged to design and deliver a fully custom AV control and distribution system that would simplify daily operation while providing the power and scalability expected of a modern entertainment venue.

The Challenge

Full Monty’s needed an AV solution that could:

Seamlessly manage multiple video and audio sources across the venue
Drive a large LED wall, TVs, and digital signage simultaneously
Support SKY sports, nightlife visuals, and karaoke content
Provide nightclub-quality audio with strong low-frequency performance
Be simple for staff to operate, without accessing AV racks or complex hardware
Remain reliable during peak trading hours and high-energy events

The solution had to balance technical complexity behind the scenes with absolute simplicity at the front of house.

The NZAV Solution

NZAV designed and implemented a custom-built control system that unifies all video, audio, and signage systems into a single, staff-friendly interface.

At the heart of the system is a 16x16 video matrix, allowing any source to be routed to any display across the venue instantly. This provides complete flexibility for different modes of operation—from live sport broadcasts to karaoke nights and nightclub visuals. We also used a Multiviewer from AV Pro Edge so that we can split the LED Screen into four or as a super wide screen for digital signage.

NZAV’s custom control platform enables staff to manage the entire AV system quickly and intuitively, eliminating the need to access equipment racks or troubleshoot technical hardware during service.

User Experience

One of the key outcomes of this project was simplicity. Despite the complexity of the system, venue staff can now:

Switch between sports, digital signage, and nightlife modes instantly
Control audio levels and zones without technical knowledge and we have included presets like start and end of day, different audio presets for time of day and digital signage triggers to easily trigger specific ads or messages with one button push.
Manage displays and LED wall content effortlessly
Operate the entire venue AV system from a single, intuitive interface

This ensures smooth operation during busy service periods and allows staff to focus on delivering great customer experiences.
